Transition: Changing the Outcomes

This five-week interactive course includes a variety of class activities to examine the strategies and use of evidence-based transition practices for transition planning to promote positive student outcomes, increase knowledge of transition assessments, and explore options to prepare students for postsecondary education and or training, competitive employment and living, and participating in communities.

Intended Audience

This course is targeted for middle and high school special educators in Virginia who interest in learning more about transition for youth with disabilities. However, any individual who has an interest in learning more about evidence-based transition practices for transition planning are still encouraged to participate in this course. Registration is open to the first 100 who enroll.

Course Requirements

Participants are to complete all course activities which include narrated lectures and videos, readings, discussion boards, learning activities, and assignments.
